Eight Years

It was December 22nd, 2008 around lunch time when my sister was visiting our mommy at her work where they were having their Christmas party. My sister and our mom was coming down the steps so that my sister could be on her way to the doctor. While coming down the steps my sister tells our mom "I think Haylee is coming." Well my sister arrives at the doctor's office where she is told you are 4cm, your baby is coming today. Mind you my sister is only 28 weeks pregnant which mean Haylee is not ready to come into this crazy world at all yet. Well the EMS is called and off to FMC my sister is taken. From the time she left Thomasville until she arrived in Winston-Salem she dilated 5 more cm putting her up to 9 cm which really meant Haylee was coming today. My sister arrived at FMC around 4:55 pm and Haylee was born at 5:01pm. Haylee tipped the scale at 2 pound 6.8 ounces and was 14 inches long. Haylee spent 55 days in the NICU at FMC. On Febuary 16th, Haylee came home. You see that precious 2 pound 6.8 ounces angel is celebrating her 8th birthday today.

HAPPY 8th BIRTHDAY SWEET GIRL!!!
How does someone this little

grow to be someone this big?

GOD

Haylee is doing wonderful as you can see for yourself. If you have a had the joy to be around Haylee you know what a sweet girl she can be. Haylee has grown into a smart, beautiful, happy young lady.

Haylee,

Over the past eight years I have watched you grow into the beautiful young lady you are today. I have prayed for you each and every day and could not see my life without you in it now. You are very smart second grader. Your love for your brothers is very strong. Your love for your mommy and daddy is one that only you could have for them. Your love for your Nana and Papaw is one that you will always have. Now you will start a new journey in your life as you move to a new state which brings new friends, new school, new faces, new church, but just remember one thing you will always have you mommy, daddy, and two Bubbas with you forever. I love you sweet girl.

On the bus

Yes that is right my brother-in-law is on the bud heading back to North Carolina. The bus left the station today at 3 (4 our time) and should arrive in High Point right before lunch tomorrow. The excitement that had fulled my sister's house is unreal right now. The boys are so excited for their daddy to finally be home again wrestling and carrying on. Haylee is really to be daddy's princess again. My sister is beside herself for her husband to finally be home again. My sister has cleaned the house spotless for Edward. I know she will not be able to sleep tonight our of pure excitement.

Oh my....

How did you all get so very lucky to hear from me two days in a row. Just wanted to update everyone on my sister's journey to a new state. God works in powerful ways. My sister texted me this morning with great news of they have a house to live in. The house has three bedrooms, two baths, small yard for the monkeys to run around in and is only five miles from the base. My sister is very relieved to say the least that they have a house to live in before they get there and won't have to live out of a hotel room. Now the fun begins with packing up all the childrens toys and everything else that come with three kids. Just keep praying that everything works out for them.

Oh yeah just so you all know SCHOOL IS OUT until January. YAH!!!

Update

I know I have been doing a bad job at updating my blog like I promised you all. Well here is one big update and I will do my yvery best to update my blog at least once a week if not more. Oh where to start here, I am just going to jump in starting with myself.

I have finished up yet another semester of school and finally see the light at the end of the tunnel since I am heading into my LAST semester for my Assoicate Degree in Early Childhood Education. I plan on going to HPU for my teaching degree but we will see how everything pans out during the summer and if I get a assistant teacher position. I am still loving my job at Hasty and love the people and children I work with each and everyday, there is never a dull moment there. I have been working out for the past month and very proud to say I am feeling great. I am still single but very much ok with that because I know God has a special someone for me one day, but for now I am content to wait for him.

The family is doing great. My daddy still loves his job very much and is a totally different person now that he doesn't have all of that stress on him. Now that daddy is happy everyone is happy in the house. My mommy is still staying at home but in January will be going back to school. I am very proud of my mommy for going back to school at the very young age of 57. Of course it will take some time for her to get back into the swing of thing but before you know it she will be running circle around all of those others in the program. My daddy, my mommy and me are taking on a new business of selling teak products. We are very excited about what God will do in our business. I will post a different blog about the items we will be selling and where you can find the product. Overall, we are still one big well ok little happy family.

Ok onto more exciting news here. My brother-in-law will be home on Friday. If you are just now joining me here just to give you a quick filler. My brother-in-law left August 21st and heading to Fort Benning, GA for 10 weeks of basic training. On November 2nd he headed to Fort Leonard Wood, MO where he has been until he leaves on Thursday December 18th. He will arrive in High Point on Friday December 19th. We are all very excited about him coming home for good this time. The kids can not wait until daddy is home and playing rough again with them. On December 29 the movers come to pack my my sister's house up to move them out to MO where they will be stationed for who know how long because the Army will do whatever they want as we all have learned over the past 17 weeks. December 31st my sister and her family will leave North Carolina to travel 14+ hours to their new home state of MO. Please pray for my sister and her family to have safe traveling there especially with three children. They are very excited about this new journey in life God has brought them too.
